This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. This is a private reference site. We cannot say whether a warrant exists, clear or recall a warrant, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice to anyone. For any of those, the court that issued the warrant or the sheriff's office that serves it is the office you have to reach directly.
Need Official Warrant Information?
In Ascension Parish, almost every warrant question routes to one of four offices. Here is where the questions most people ask should go:
- Whether a warrant exists: call the APSO Criminal Services Warrants Division at 225-621-8308, the unit responsible for serving criminal warrants and for questions about an outstanding warrant by name and date of birth
- A bench warrant for a missed court date: contact the court that set the case, often Ascension Parish Court for a traffic, misdemeanor, or ordinance matter, since that court issued the warrant and still holds it
- Resolving or clearing a warrant: talk with a licensed Louisiana attorney and the issuing court about a recall, a surrender, or posting bond
- An arrest warrant tied to a charge: the issuing court sets the charge and the bond, and the sheriff's office serves the warrant
For a warrant held at the parish level, the primary counter is the APSO Warrants Division. The offices below hold Ascension Parish warrant records or control the court process around them.
